Hi,

Are there any thoughts on offering ILS as "software as a service" - basically, to host ILS databases on your servers and allow customers to log in and manage products/customers/license keys/etc. You would also host authentication service as well.

I understand that many companies probably want to manage their licenses themselves but for small businesses it would be much simpler to pay a small monthly fee and not to worry about where to put the database, authentication service, manage updates, backups, service availability, etc.

We have been asked about that - but is not something we currently are planning. Part of the ethos of ILS is to give customers full control over their own data and licensing - something that you lose when you outsource to someone else as you become reliant on their servers and support.
