|
|
I've encountered a very strange behaviour of the control. This behaviour is very related to mechanism of losing focus, in-grid editing and firing Validation and Validated event.
So I had to cases:
1. User edited the value in the cell, than clicked somewhere inside the VirtualTree. The event fired in the following order (I just put the related events)
- Validating
- Validated
- SetCellValue
2. User edited the value in the cell, than clicked somewhere outside the VirtualTree (say textbox in the same form). The event fired in the following order (I just put the related events)
- SetCellValue
- Validating
- Validated
I use SetCellValue event handler to save data to the database. But the thing is, that in the second case, the virtualtree tries to save not validated data!
Is it the expected behavoiur? I am very concerned, how should I organize my logic to have the values validated before saving into the database. |

You are right there is definitely an issue there. The fix looks relatively straightforward so we should be able to get bugfix release out later today. _________________ Infralution Support |
