I'm using License Tracker and trying to use the Outlook integration features (Import Sales, Forward Email etc) but am receiving an error 8007007E.
This error can occur because you don't have Outlook installed on the machine - or because you have installed an Anti Virus product (such as Norton) that is blocking scripting.
Installing Norton AntiVirus 2006 is known to cause this problem. The fix is to use RegEdit to locate the following entry:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\Outlook.Application]
The Default value of this key gives the CLASS ID for the Outlook application (usually this is
"{0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}")
Next find this CLASS ID under [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID] and locate the InprocServer32 subkey eg
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\InprocServer32]
The default value will be set to:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\Script Blocking\ScrBlock.dll
